Works for me. You might have to clear your history and cookies or what ever.

Somebody has had a similar issue on another forum today, all by himself too. Might be worth checking your PC's health.

Many of browses are seeing the NRAA site as a threat, i suspect that they may not have updated their certificate.

The NRAA site doesn't run via https so they are not using a certificate. They don't collect any sensitive data and don't need a certificate, the same as this site.
It's just that most browsers now give warnings when you're required to enter a login with a non secure site which is why we went to https & certified.

Like most, I'm having no issues connecting to the NRAA site, maybe those that are having issues might post the error/warning they are getting when they try to connect to www.nraa.com.au

Is that using Safari browser Danny?

If so are you able to try another browser or maybe check for a Safari update.

Using one version of Chrome I get a strange message.
I have tried to attach a screen shot of this message - not sure if the attachment will work.

Using Firefox a few days ago I did connect OK !

As per Graham W's post, there seem to be an issue with their certificate. To access, click on advanced and add an exception. This will remove any issues in the future.

Peter, that message indicates you are trying to connect using https:// instead of http:// on a site that is not running a certificate. Try using the following link to connect.

http://www.nraa.com.au

If you're not required to log into the site, pass sensitive data (i.e. username/password) then there is no real reason to use a secure connection (https).
Several browsers are now automatically going to https protocol when there is some sort of form to fill out on a web page and unless the site is set up with an SSL Certificate you will receive that error/warning message.

Another possible cause for a certificate mismatch error is if your computers date/time is not correctly set, but this is different to the warning you are getting.

I did partly understand the problem (which is not really a security problem in this case !) but now know how it happened.

Sometimes, I just pick up the link from a bookmark, but other times from Googling depending what I am looking for.
Google returned the https version while the older bookmark simply returns the http one. Good to know.
