Im getting a stole panda .223 action, macmillan stock 3" forend built for a different discipline than FClass. To shoot out to 600yds what barrel length, twist and projectile weight would i need? Also what class would best suit a new comer to the sport?

Personally, I'd be going a 30" - 32" 1:8 twist to shoot 80 grn projectiles. That way you can shoot in f standard or ftr depending on what weight the finished rifle comes in at.
And I've seen these little 223's shoot very well past 600

Just checking, do you already have a front rest? If not, then F/TR might be cheaper to get into as a good bipod is much cheaper than a good pedestal rest.
If you are thinking of F/TR, then maybe opt for a 7" twist barrel so you have the option of using 90gn bullets

Thanks scott/r, what are the weight limits for the classes?

If you want to use your pedestal rests, then you will have to go in F/std. in that class you have a max rifle weight of 8kg and minimum trigger weight of 1kg. You will also have to use 80gn bullets, so 8” twist would be the go.
