I don't know how well known this part is but if you are lucky enough to have an Auto-Trickler I can highly recommend upgrading the base to the one by Area 419 (
http://www.area419.com). Weighing over half a kilo it's steady as a rock and the adjustable feet let you fine tune the trickle rate and it looks great too
I have no finical interest in this just a good product and only $65 US although you need to email them to sort shipping.
Edit I would add a photo but I get a message saying 403 Forbidden Access to this resource on the server is denied!

Yes I AGREE. A very worth while addition. Smoother quieter and adjustable! The Area 419 cup with the long handle also works well.

One arrived in the post Tuesday. Set it all up, would not work. Emailed Adam he was quick to reply, l have 1 in a 100 that needs that jump wire that comes with it and he sent instructions how to install it. Still didn't work so l emailed him again with a quick reply once more saying to reprogram the AND scales in which l did and presto, movement happen just had to loosen the belt on the thrower and off she went. Just a couple of fine tunes on the slide for the trickler to slower her down and bang on with the charge weight. Best thing l have purchased since the anneal made perfect.Adam was so helpful it was a delight to deal with him. Cant say the same thing about Whiddens and my hydro die.

I Just posted this on the Australian Reloading Talk and Trade Facebook page (
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1442388839331951/) but for anyone who isn't on it here is a little update...
Just added some more Area419 sparkle to my powder setup! Billet bases for the stepper motor assembles both work really well, trickler base is essential IMHO and the thrower base defiantly smooths out the throw. Cups work well as dished bottoms and conical sides keep the kernels contained and the ali is nicely anti static. The only bit I'm not sure about is the powder hopper. It's glass and metal construction look and feel amazing but it's bloody heavy on the flimsy top of the scales...

Website is a bit backwards, chuck them an email (
info@area419.com) and they will sort you out.

It might sound a little silly but the Area 419 are inter changeable with Adams auto trickler products. The heavy base and hopper look the same.

The Area 419 base is definitely worth the upgrade.
