Tikka set trigger help please

Post by Mozzie »

I’m just new to shooting in nra and completed my second crack at f class with my tikka t3x with a set trigger.I’m aware that to compete on an even playing field I’m not allowed a set trigger, I’m wondering is there any way of disabling the set trigger rather than a replacement trigger? Any help pointing me in right direction would be very much appreciated.
Cheers
Mozzie

If you are just starting out I would simply not use the "set" posistion and adjust the main pull weight to your desired level. If you are going to persist with the Tikka action you will probably want to fit a Bix'n Andy or Timney etc.

Thank you for your advise.I was hoping someone would have a fix to disable the set trigger, so if anyone can help please do.

question to Mozzie, what is the trigger weight of the set trigger, what class are you shooting in ???? if it's F Std now you can go as low as 500 g or are set triggers not allowed peroid ????

If your stuck, I will swap my worked Tikka trigger for your set trigger?

Happy to discuss.
