WTB 260 reamer

Chasing a 260 reamer for a project build, straight out 260 or improved either will be fine if anyone has one.

Thanks

Re: Wanted . Target scope with 30mm tube

Probably make you laugh but hey. Buy a discovery 8-32 HI. $260 approximately, brand new! I got one a few months ago as I needed a scope and was trying to save for the rifle I am currently building. I have put many rounds down the tube from 300 to 1000 yards and it is working extremely well and handl...

I got some that I think would be the same stuff. Sort of like a memory foam, black/grey and fairly dense.

And my new effy build begins.

Has been coming for a long while but things are starting to happen. Been saving my pennies and working at getting me a decent f-class rig. Life’s hard with a young family, and the dollars are getting close to the desired amount to get the bits I need to get it off the ground, so today I started on m...

Re: Optimus HBC Projectiles

There are a lot of other reasons for them to be 2nds apart from just weight. They could be out of round, jackets might not be right...... Maybe ok for practice, but I personally wouldn't take them into a comp. Scott. According to the information I had they were start of run and they cull a signific...

Re: Pussy pads otherwise known as recoil absorbers

I shot a 284 Ackley free recoil in FO with 180g bullets with a Decelerater, then a Limbsaver, then some closed cell foam rubber from work. The last option was far and away the most comfortable, plus it was nearly half the weight of the others. I just used some Ados F2 and glued it onto a piece of 3...

Re: Pussy pads otherwise known as recoil absorbers

Thanks Wal but they will be fine using either of my chosen options. I wasn’t after advice on calibers or the like. What I am after is specific information about recoil pads! What brands and types are good and what are average and what people are using and why. For example are the hogue ones in the l...

Re: Pussy pads otherwise known as recoil absorbers

I wouldnt put a 13 year old behind either of those cartridges, recoil/noise will frighten them, and a flinch will develop.. My suggestion is build something like a 223 or 6br in a heavy build.. The more comfortable they feel behind the rifle the more enjoyable, this will allow them to focus more on...

Re: Optimus HBC Projectiles

I had a batch of seconds in the new style pointed ones, I had a handful that made more than 0.4 grains heavy, and not many more that were more than that light. Maybe I got lucky but most fell within +- 0.15 grains. This was a 500 count box and sold as seconds. Got more coming and will check them out.

Re: Grains or grams?

Hmm 15 point something grains to a gram, makes 0.1 grain far more accurate a measure than 0.1 grams in my book. Anyone measuring powder in grams is not safe to load ammunition and therefore unsafe to shoot near.

I love how he’s using the “so inaccurate” lee hand press that no one could ever produce accurate ammunition with. Lol

I love my lee hand press.

Re: IBI Stainless Barrels from Cleavers

And what’s wrong with a 22-250 that shoots a projectile heavier than 55 grains?
