Re: Wanted - New F Class Stofck

I use a crappy log wooden thumbhole stock with a butt that is adjustable for length, height and tilt. It's OK and has served me well but I do fancy something more exotic. I fancy a change.

Wanted - New F Class Stock

I've decided to treat myself to a new Stock for my F Standard Barnard Rifle. Basically I think I'm bored with the old one. I have a hankering to play with one of the fancy modular stocks which seem to adjust every which way, but I'm also partial to a nice wooden one as well. Can anyone come up with ...

Minimum Speed Needed for 1000Yds

I have a query that I'd like people's opinion on. It comes from a discussion some of us were having recently. All of us are using the "standard" Berger 155.5 gr projectile - some shooting TR and others F Standard Question What is the minimum speed at the start to ensure the 155.5 Berger p...

Re: Question for Sightron owners......

The correct Allen key is the smallest one in the Imperial set marked "50". Sightrons are made to U.S. Specs so its all Imperial. A normal set of Allen keys doesn't usually go down to that size so you need to look around for a more complete set. Bunnings (of course) has them. Its best to us...

Re: Loads for 185 Grain Projectiles

Hi Again. Thanks for the replies so far guys. Please keep suggestions coming. My mate wants to get a decent load for the Tassie Queens which starts on the 7th March.
Any data on bullet seating depths would also be appreciated.

Loads for 185 Grain Projectiles

A friend asked me about loads for 185 gr. projectiles for 308W. I had no idea so I promised I'd ask. He's shooting 185 gr. projectiles in a 308W and says that they are not registering on Silver Mountain targets at 1000yds. Observers in the butts say the bullet is going through the target. I can only...

Re: NRAA: Australian Target Rifle Team Dominates at National and World Championships

I was in a couple of those Palma teams many many years ago and we failed miserably. 1988 was the last time Australia won a Palma. When you look at the number of successes in NZ in both team and individual results, it really is remarkable. The Captain, Darren Enslin and the team he gathered around hi...

Big Tick for MagnetoSpeed People and Agents

I just wanted to give a big tick to the MagnetoSpeed people in the USA and also to their Australian Agents - Huntsman Sales in Townsville. (huntsmanfirearms.com.au) I've had a MagnetoSpeed for a couple of years now. It developed a problem with a loose electrical contact in the Display unit. On Monda...

Re: Help with ladder test results

Hi. This is just an observation about what happens for me with a Magnetospeed Chronograph. I have one and use it a lot with load development, both with my own gear and other shooters that I do stuff for. 1. With the Magneto on it always changes my point of impact. 2. With the Magneto on it completel...

Re: NRAA Elections for Director Positions - Nov 2nd

Sorry about being so long in replying to Tim. Been away and I've only just seen Tim's request. The good news is that as far as I'm aware there are at least three F Class Shooters that have nominated for the Board. Great! Get out and lobby your State Councils for them. Councils should be able to dire...

NRAA Elections for Director Positions - Nov 2nd

Hi All, A couple of pieces of news. The 3 year term of 2 of the NRAA Directors is up at the end of this year, and their positions are up for election. The way to nominate for these positions for interested people is a little complicated. The Chairman of each State Association (or their nominated rep...

Re: F-Class World Championships 2017

Can someone give a list of the team scores as of the first day please. Trying to make sense of the Canadian websites and score reporting is way beyond my capabilities. Something simple like a list of the score aggregates for the teams competing.
