Re: Copperhead projectile approval?

Well I don't know about the rest of you, but I like buying Aussie. It took me a while but I got my all Aussie rifle (Nightforce was the closest I could get for scope though) With ADI brass still able to contain and shoot my 2209 load and Ken making bullets I'll be supporting him. The point to note i...

Re: nraa funding of overseas shooting

There is Government money available for those who are selected in overseas teams but generally you have to apply for it. If shooters (whether TR or F-Class) are going to sit back and wait for the gravy train then they can forget it. Start with contacting your State Sport and Rec department and then...

Do you use a drop tube to fill those cases?

Yes mate, a 1m long piece of carbon fiber tube has served me well for over 2 years now. It's slow pour as well, a fast pour brings it half way up the neck.

Re: HOW FULL IS A FULL CASE?

I don't know where the original 'principle' comes from. My principle is to start load development from a known safe load from a book (I use adi powder so I use there book). From there I work up loads that perform but don't show pressure signs. Palmer brass isn't mentioned in any load development lit...

Re: The Future

Something to think about Trevor and others envolved at the VRA which I think would be helpful... Firstly new membership applications need to be made easier... This whole/current system is not inclusive to new members... Currently new members have to find an "excepting club" once a new mem...

Re: The Future

General asking his soldiers to go over the top and see what they can do, and if they survive, "let me know how you got on". That Sir, is without question the most accurate analogy I have heard made with regards to this topic. Generally, in my limited experience, everything is done 'at clu...

Re: The Future

Well it's been mentioned a few times now. Seats on the NRAA board. Am I the only one on here considering that? I was also under the impression muzzle brakes were allowed in Service rifle now. Is that correct? It's a fair call that laying to the side of one of those isn't a pleasant experience so why...

Re: The Future

Thinking about the reality of the situation, we have an oppertunity now with 3 NRAA positions up for grabs. As noted however, who is willing to take on those roles. I am seriously considering it, but I'm unsure what sort of job I can do. I have a full time job, a family and live in North QLD. With t...

Re: Don’t throw out your worn out 6.5 mm barrel!!

It's an old true flight. It's threaded for a Barnard P though so might not be enough left if it needs a full rechamber? You might get away with it if you can just reduce the thread diameter to go in your action. If you have to chop it there wont be much over 24".
