Re: F Class Competition in Australia

No mention so far of club rifles. Be honest with ourselves and admit that continued participation inevitably costs money. I don't think the cost of a second hand Omark is ruinous compared to other forms of recreation - what does a set of golf clubs or a motorcycle cost these days? A few shoots with ...

Re: 21st Century - Calibrated Bullet Seating Die vs. Others

..... any measurement and batching process is rendered invalid and pointless. So either I am chasing my tail and the variations in consistency I am seeing will do very little down range, or there is some hint of improvement I can squeeze from my setup. Albert You could try seating them a few thou l...

Re: Canadian F-Class Nationals 2017

Frustrating range results with all competitors lumped together alphabetically! I can't bring up the aggregates!? Hi Shane, Seems like you're looking at "Ranges shot today". If you look at "Matches and aggregates completed today" they're in score order. I can't find the Day 2 agg...

Major difference is pedestal rests are allowed. Essentially it's FO with calibre restrictions and 8.25kg weight limit.

To be precise they're shooting F-F.

Re: Rings for Parker Hale foresight?

Ask around at your local range. You might well find that someone who's upgraded to a larger front tunnel has a set in the back of a cupboard. If all else fails I've got four red perspex ones from 3.2 to 3.5 you can have if that's any use to you.

Re: Clarification of Standard Shooting Rules for 2017 QRA Queens

What about taking fired cases onto the mound John? Seems to me that uncertainty about the number of shots fired is independent of the numbers of empties on display when ETs are used, as it always has been on paper targets. A scorer acting in accord with SSRs would know how many shots were fired. An...

Re: Clarification of Standard Shooting Rules for 2017 QRA Queens

What about taking fired cases onto the mound John? There was some unpleasantness at the veterans matches caused by a shooter having done so, thereby making it impossible to dertermine the number of shots fired.

Admittedly I only measured 10 of each, .3 of a thou variation in the CCI, .6 of a thou in the Federal.

Re: Primers Question CCI BR2 Vs Large

I've preferred the Federal over the CCI having read that they were bigger and therefore I'd get more firings before they'd fall out of the pocket again. HOWEVER, just measured some BR2s and GM210Ms. The CCI averaged .2108" diameter, the Federal .2106". I don't know about lot to lot variati...

Re: Canty rear sight.

I'm thinking these are the same as the TMac. If so, yes. The elevation plate will be facing away from you when you shoot and you'll have to read the windage plate upside down. I didn't find this any impediment.

If I'm wrong (again) in this then disregard the above!!

Re: NRAA Queens

Alan The Hexta functioned very well. There needs to be a more in depth tutorial on their use? Shane It would help if Hexta reviewed their policy of only supplying their user manual to customers. If you go to a manual target event the SSRs state very clearly how you go about scoring. Why not be able...
