I like what I hear - sounds like F-Open is about to have a bit of a surge in SA. Did you know there's a possibility of an inter-state teams event soon? You may only need two members for the first one i.e. coached pairs (it has to start somewhere).

#10 Postby bjld » Sat Aug 02, 2008 9:07 pm

Congratulations to Bruce!
Won No1 DRA OPM with a 99 at 800m.
Seems like there is something to those 284s.

Very nice going Bruce. That's raised the bar a notch or two. I'll have to move the 6.5 into the next phase of development :D :D !

I would say that it was the highest score ever shot in the world (on the Australian target at that range on that day) .

Seriously, I haven't heard of another 99 at 800m on the new targets.

That has got me thinking that we could have a records page (alongside the possibles) on ozfclass.com. Would probably be best to just include the longs (i.e. 800yds and over), because anything less than that has probably had at least one possible scored. It could include all the official former championship and current open targets. I know there are some great scores that aren't recorded on this website. What say ye?

Bill Hallam shot a perfect score at 900yrds on the old target, thats the only 100 I know of at the longs.

Matt, I believe you have had 99s at most of longs on the old targets. Would you be able to remember the dates and places if such a web page was started?

Alan
