G'day crew,
I'm basically a hunter, but I still like to hunt targets and got tired of wearing out my hunting rifles at the range, so I've ordered a 6.5 Creedmore. It's not going to be a super expensive rifle but I'm starting with a Howa heavy Barrel and action, and fitting it into one of Cameron Hatcher's walnut stocks. The scope will be a 6.5-20x50 Vortex Viper on a rail, and I'll be handloading.
My local range is at Casino in Northern NSW and it only goes to 600m which is fine for what I want. I'm also a member of the SSAA.
Cheers,
JD

Thanks Roy, that's precisely the reason I'm in for mate, have a bit of fun and not get too serious. I may have a go at a Fly shoot at some time too. I began my shooting life at 16 on the old ANZAC Range at Liverpool shooting an SMLE with aperture sights. Things have changed a bit.
