Central Sight Repairs - who does them?

#1 Postby Beniah » Mon Jul 29, 2019 10:48 am

G'Day All,

Newbie here, so please excuse me if I say something that's been discussed 1000 times already.

As a TR shooter, I'm still using Central rear sights. In the past, I went to an older gentleman in Brisbane for service and repair of the Central. He's in his 80's and no longer does that work and has been unable to get a local person interested in passing on the baton. So we're limited when it comes to someone who has the gear and knowledge to maintain and service Centrals.

From the collective group, who do you know that still maintains and repairs Centrals?

Grateful for your guidance and thank you.

Thanks Lonrider43,

I've made contract with Mal McKenzie, Shooting Industries Australia. He's got a rubbish temporary website, but don't let that dissuade you!

http://www.shootingindustriesaustralia.com/

He's the one left in the race now Tom Canty from Brisbane has given up the game.

Many thanks for the advice, hope this helps others.

Check out the shooting industries australia facebook page. Mal's got a couple of photos and a short video on it.

I'm chasing a 1/4minute windage wheel if you've got any left. Can you let me know how much and how I can pay for it if you still have them.
