Thanks Rowena. As you may know, results are being published on the NRA website nightly, but the info about calibres used, conditions etc. is much appreciated. And of course any idle gossip is always welcome!

Keep it coming over the next couple of nights please!

Alan :)

Congratulations to both National Queens F-Class winners Cameron McEwan and Tony Beardmore =D> ! In F-Open it looks like Matt closed the gap considerably, but Cameron's lead on the first two days was substantial. Good to see Chris having a solid finish for third.

Thanks fella's for the kind words. Much appreciated.
This was a very special victory for me as it was the first Queens I have attended. I have been shooting as a member of the QRA since 1979. Shot fullbore till around 2003 and went across to F/O after eye problems and tennis elbow. I have attended many OPM's over the years but never got to a Queens.
Now the 3 kids are through school, uni, etc, it is time for my wife and I to do our own thing. Hope that answers your question Allan.
I would like to congratulate all the F Class shooters at these Queens. I know it is hard for many to attend these shoots, but if you get the opportunity, go for it.
Julie and I were planning a trip to the cape when the Brisbane Queens are to be shot. She has now talked me into going to Brisbane, but there is a catch, she has to shoot as well. Canberra, Sydney, etc etc, were also mentioned.......
Jeff, you are so right, all the little things do stack up, a big psychological help as well.

Good shooting all,

6,6,6,6,6,6,6,6,6,6

Cameron,

Sounds like you're well and truly doomed to the life of a wandering Queens entrant - you poor cow.... :D :D Hope you can make it to Canberra - the F-Open field could be bigger again than the 21 last year.

Alan
