Just like to know if anyone is using barrel tuners, on their SAUM, as I’ve just put one my new barrel

Nice looking rifle !!

Barrel tuners doesn't work.... if you like big groups and an inability to adjust for variable conditions. ;-)

I have a couple of tuners but they work more as barrel weights, meaning once they are set up I usually leave them alone.
Not much science in what I do but I think they help widen the tune window.

I have used the Purdy PRX system on a couple of .284's and was quite happy with the results. Same with a 6.5x47 and 6.5x55 Rogue. All were made out of aluminium, so not a lot of weight to act as a barrel weight. Cannot see why they should not work on a SAUM.
Cheers,
Trevor.
