New Dies from Short Action Customs

#1 Postby Frank Green » Thu Dec 19, 2019 1:03 am

Here are a couple of pic's of a set of dies I got on Monday from Short Action Customs. These are set up for 6BRA. I already sized about 20 cases. The sizing die is a neck bushing die. Overall first impression is they are nicely made and there is nothing I can really pick apart on them.

I'll finish loading the ammo sometime this week and hopefully shoot the ammo before Christmas.

Looks like quality gear Frank. Do you know how far they intend to expand with their calibre line up?

If they have gone to the trouble/cost of fitting Mitutoyo tops, then I think you can be assured they are of the highest quality.

Right now Mark (owner of Short Action Customs) Only has 6GT and 6BRA dies. I know he has 6 Creedmoor in the works and a few others.

I'll reach out to him and see what is in the mix for the future.

Do you have a ball park figure on cost? Also a time frame for the 6CM?

A pity I already picked up Redding 6GT dies otherwise I would give these a run.

I’ll message him first thing Monday morning and ask him ETA on the 6CM and pricing. Hopefully I can get a answer before Christmas shut down for ya.

Why don't people look up their web site instead of asking Frank all these question?
