Is this a question??

I have found boretech nylon brushes the best option for me. They have good stiff bristles compared to other brushes.

Agree with Ben. But only use a nylon brush as a solvent carrier. Recently had to remedial lap a guy's relatively new barrel because of ceramic carbon build up. A more persuasive use of the bronze brush could have avoided the problem.

These are Primo mate.
Iosso Eliminator Nylon Brush
B.R.T Sell them.
Very stiff bristles and last for ages and work very well with paste for carbon removal.

Agree with williada.
I purchase bronze brushes usually 10 -15 dozen at a time and use that number in about 18 months to 2 years. I honestly think that many shooters get too worked up about the damage that a bronze brush will do to a barrel. My barrels don't seem to last any less number of shots than most experience. That is a target rifle barrel about 3500 rounds or more and a match rifle barrel at least 3000, and have had one MR barrel last to 5500 rounds, all being cleaned after each days shoots with 40 -50 passes of bronze brush and good bore solvent. I do wash brush in turps after 10 strokes or so.

Forgot to mention.
For 30 cal barrels I use 8mm bronze brushes. The 30 cal brushes seem to just slide across the surface, little to no resistance whereas you can feel the 8mm brushes actually doing some work in the barrel.
Brownells sell bronze brushes by the doz a lot cheaper than if you buy the same number singly. I use their premium line, which have brass wire core rather than steel wire core.
