Chasing a Quickload estimate

Would it be possible for someone with Quickload to run some numbers for me please.
I'm chasing mainly the chamber pressure estimate for 46.3grns of 2206h in a lapua palma case, behind a 155.5grn berger in a 30" barrel. Speeds would also be of interest.
Disclaimer - this is not a load I'm running, or would even contemplate running without prior testing, but more of a followup to a conversation had with a mate about what sort of shit would go wrong if you did run it. And no, beer was not invlved.

I'm gonna say with 46.3 grns it's gonna be full.

Wow, I thought it would have beena lot higher than that as I'm getting 3030fps from 45.2 grns of 2206h. But as you said, it is just a program.

Well I put 45.2 grains in to quickload with the same 2.84 coal and it came back with 2982 fps , so you could easily have a fast barrel and can add 50 fps to the quickload estimate for the bigger load, using your chrono data to calibrate.... So maybe you will get 3100, or maybe you will hurt your brass.

With my 6x47, 43gr of 2213 and 105gr hybrid estimates 3200 fps and using a friend's radar we measured at 3120 fps, so my quickload was in the other direction. But once you have a measurement you can adjust.

Mm, that's interesting. I'm running 45.2 of 2206h in 2 rifles. A barnard with a 30' and a quadlock with 31" barrel, both 1:12 . The barnard is running an average of 3030 with palma brass and the rpa is 3035 with large primer lapua brass. So 46.3 of 2206h would have to be very close to 3100 fps, but does that mean chamber pressures would climb above what quickload suggests?

Quickload demonstrates the garbage in, garbage out principle better than most programs. Varying overall lengths/freebore dimensions make an enormous difference to pressure and velocity, as does jamming vs jumping. 46.3gr of 06h can be within Saami pressure limits at long OALs. It can be downright dangerous at short ones.

I'm not actually running anything anywhere near this Alex. It just started as conversation at the range a few weeks ago, and I was under the impression that 46.3 of 06h would hand grenade your action and face. But it seems it may not be the case in some actions.

Does show the variability of hand loading! I’m running 44.3 of 2206H 155ncc 2.9 oal @ 2915 in a 29” 14 twist LC brass WLR primer and would not go further, 1st firing too, be interesting where I get too with the formed brass now?
