ADI POWDER
Hi all,
I was talking to a fellow dealer yesterday and he told me the Winchester rep said there will be no ADI powder made for the Australian market this year. They have military and commercial (aka Winchester) contracts they need to fill and they don't have the production capability to do all of it so we as shooters will miss out. So just like primers, adi powder will now be on the hard to get list.

Oh good stuff, at least we haven’t seen the shortages the US has, ironic given Winchester has walked away from Australia anyway, I would have liked to try their Staball although I never liked 748/760

Re: ADI POWDER
So ADI powder is in short supply. I also hear Berger 155.5’s and Optimus HBC’s are just about sold out with future supplies uncertain. Maybe we could let off steam by putting dart boards in our clubhouse. At least darts don’t need components to make them fly.

So it seems after a quiet 4 years, the militaries around the world are gearing up for a return to wars around the world again. Maybe these powders will be getting used in Iran and Taiwan?

according to the seppos, all the powder, bullets, primers, & brass is going into loaded ammo bought by first time gun buyers.
ang there is a lot of first time gun buyers.
all the lefties over there are now buying them for self protection as well.
and they seem to have got women buying more guns.

Hey Fellas,
I reckon you should calm the farm a bit on the ADI powder thing. They have recently gone through a processing plant rebuild, and it takes time to get everything back to running full steam, and are running 3 shifts a day trying to catch up!!.
If you bother to ask ADI, they are quite forth coming with answers, so in the mean time, stay away from the Billybob/Bubba cool aid jug, its toxic.

Re: ADI POWDER
Well , I am a dealer too in FNQ.
In the last 2 years I have received 6 shipments of ADI
The last from Winchester in Nov 2020.
They cannot give me any indication I will receive any in 2021
I made an enquiry direct to ADI and got nothing but smoke and mirrors!
“ It will improve “!
When I repeated the question making it known I am a dealer I have been met with a complete wall of silence
I fear the truth is Thales [ French owners of ADI] cannot give a toss about retail.

Let's hope that the capitalistic system we live in works, in that another supply fills the gap.

I was talking to a dealer the other day and he told me that Thales were doing away with 500g canisters. The only sizes available would be 1kg and 4kg moving forward.

I’ll be selling $20 foils (12 primers) and 50 bags (36 primers) behind the shower blocks at night at the Bendigo Queens
