Easter 2022 Mudgee Long Range Shoot

#1 Postby aussie shooter » Wed Oct 06, 2021 5:52 pm

Easter Shoot April 16th and 17th at Mudgee Rifle Club at the Windermere Regional Shooting Complex Inc.

F Class and Target Rifle. I am not sure which F Class disciplines in addition to F Std will be catered for at this stage. Program to follow soon.

This will be an invitational shoot as shooter numbers will be capped. Preregistration will be required.

Come and shoot 6 x 1000yds Matches over 2 days on the Saturday and Sunday on Electronic targets. I believe 10 shot matches.

3 x 1000yds on Day 1 Saturday 16th April
3 x 1000yds on Day 2 Sunday 17th April

Enter for either of the 1 days or for the 2 day Agg

Looking at having a practice available Friday afternoon.

Approx position of 1000yd targets

This will be the 100th Mudgee Rifle Club Prize Meeting and the second time Mudgee Club will have held a prize meeting at the Windermere Complex.
There is a beautifully set up firing point and you will be in the shade as you are shooting on a mound which is in front of a covered firing point that has benchrests. I shot here last Easter for a shoot that was organised last minute and it was an awesome experience getting to shoot 6 x 1000yds.

Camping is available on the range with hot showers but YOU MUST RING to organise a site FIRST.
If you intend to camp and just turn up you may not get a look in if you haven't rung.

Please ring Leigh Milton of Mudgee Club on 02 6372 4013
Leigh will be able to give you more information on the shoot or on organising a campsite.
Leigh has an answering machine and will call you back if you leave a message but make sure you wait for the Beep and I do mean wait and wait and then it goes beep.

A fantastic weekend of shooting. Thank you to the members of Mudgee Rifle Club for hosting this event. Pity more didn't attend, they missed a great shoot and beautiful weather.
