Had a look at Dene Freebairn's Dale special while shooting mR in SA last week. It had many "features" similar to those in the picture & an even more outrageously manufactured bolt shroud & in this case, a bolt handle that wouldn't have gone astray on a Barnard. James Freebairn (the first owner) suggested that there were more variation than you could poke a stick at with Dales. Incidentally, this was one of the buggers with four forward lock down screws.
