Let's not forget that it has/is/will occur in all states. It's part of the agreement of the last police ministers' meeting.

It is an "agreement in principle" and not binding for any state to enact the NFA!
The name itself is a complete misnomer as it is really the bastard child of all the state WLB wish lists! By giving it such a grandiose name they make it sound like it has a national blessing!

Re: Qld Labour intends to impose Ammo limits
If they do introduce ammo limits I wonder how that will impact reloaders?
I guess labour politicians think it is a "feel good" legislation. They still haven't learnt that criminals just don't follow the law, they tend to be very stubborn in that respect... It will make no impact whatsoever on crime. As always, it is far easier to enact laws like this that make no difference to crime statistics than fight real crime, but serve only to penalize innocent parties.

Easy mate these communist parasites will simply say you are only allowed x amount of powder primers and projectiles a year it will all be recorded on your "record". Once your reach your quota too bad. They already record powder, nothing stopping them from putting a limit on it per year.
