I have searched for the answer but unable to find it.
Question; I assume you can use the recorded velocities from the electronic 300yd range targets for ladder testing or does it need to be muzzle velocity? Peter

If you're referring to the velocities from Silver Mountain or Ozscore targets, I seem to remember reading that the velocity figures are not guaranteed to be accurate enough for normal chronographing purposes. For ladder testing you don't necessarily need velocity data, but if you do use it, it needs to be decently accurate to be of value.

Ozscore works on time of flight, Silver Mountain calculates a terminal velocity

So if time of flight on the Ozscore is sufficiently accurate, it could be used instead of velocity for ladder testing purposes. You could graph it against charge weight and vertical POI in the same way as velocity. Velocities should preferably be accurate to about 0.1%, so the same requirement would apply to time of flight.

Yes, GR says many shooters using his targets are tuning their loads using ToF data
