Re: Boroscope
I finally cracked and bought a Lyman about 6 months prior to the teslong appearing, I believe they have a far better picture for 1/10th of the price , at least I was too tight for a Hawkeye

Re: Boroscope
Teslong now make a rigid bore scope. I have the flexible one which works great but the rigid one would be easier and more precise to use. Can't go wrong with either for the money.

Re: Boroscope
Bought the Teslong rigid borescope in April. For US$20 you can get additional mirrors of various sizes for different calibres. For $30 Australia extra I thought it worthwhile.
Bought directly from Teslong and it arrived in a couple of weeks and no additional GST charged at postage entry point - so a bargain.

Great feedback, I’ve got a Lyman which works fine, it shows me what I need to see, but the teslong pics on the net looked clearer, nothing like a Hawkeye though

Re: Boroscope
I have the teslong and its pretty bloody good. I reckon it would be better if the light source could be dimmed a bit further as it has too much glare or mine does anyway. Bloody good for the money tho. Plus the instructions don't tell u u need to wind the little angled head in or out to focus it.

I forgot to add thats part of the problem with my early model teslong the brightness is just not adjustable enough and tends to overpower the image, also the lymans do work well

Re: Boroscope
I Bought the Rigid Teslong with the dedicated screen..NTG450H Probably the best value for money borescope out there.. I also have the flexible version which runs on the phone app.. In all honestly although the picture was great, the apps have constant adds unless you use a paid version and the flexible cord is not the easiest to use.. The Rigid version with dedicted screen has excellent quality picture which is fine tuned by the adjustable reflector..
