Interesting on the listed F standard record (until yesterday at Geraldton)being 60.8 when I had a 60.9 listed on the safclass website. I thought the S.A. ones would have been transferred over to the Australian records automatically. I've never looked at the Australian records but would have though that some one would have already had a 60.10 at 300 mts.

Nice shoot

There may have been quite a few 60.10's shot at club level around the country but I believe they need to be a registered OPM or Queens shoot for the records??? (Need to check with Ian) If it does count it would also qualify for the 20 shot record.

Malcolm, I wish we were that organised that records got notified and logged automatically as they occurred.

Its up to the individual to claim the record. Maybe when this new NRAA scoring software is in use around Australia and used at all OPM's we might have the data we need.

The local SA state records can include scores shot at local club comps but the requirement for National Records is that they must be shot in NRAA approved Open Competitions.

Another one it seems- congrats to one of our visiting shooters Maddy Cockford in claiming a 60.10 at 800m and finishing with 120.13 in total in yesterdays shoot here in Busselton.

She did very well holding her nerve with that little 6BR. Probably the calmest condition that we had all day, but nevertheless a very good score from a new shooter. Time to get her signed up as a member!

Wow! 6BR + calm conditions = best way of getting new shooters hooked!

It really does show those little BR's can really shoot small groups at long range- given F class isnt about shooting for group, but in the right conditions the hot shooting little 6mm's can and do hold their own when driven right. She got all the way to 59.9 and must have got a little nervous when loading the last round, and although the flags flickered a little, it still went in there right up on the line! To say she rubbed it into her partner who's rifle it was, (just a little) is probably true
