hey all, what do members think on the 308 savage f/tr?
just bought 1 will a nightforce scope , bipod and a few odds and ends
used fro 1 season shot 270 rounds.

Are you moving into F/TR from another discipline?
Or will you be using it for F-Std or Fullbore?
Agree with the loads though. Work something up to get the best out of it. You do give something up with a factory tube even if it's just something psychological.
I expect you'll do what I did with my savage. Burn the barrel out learning then put a match grade custom barrel on it to make it really hum
