In a sport where there are SO many variables, and so many little things that can have an impact in such a short time....all I can say is.........bloody wind!!!
Ahhhhh.....there we go....a combination of that and a beer and I feel soo much better......
I take heart that there is always next week, and more beer tonight...
So many things can go wrong!!

It was the wind from hell....swinging 100 degrees in the blink of an eye. I read the flag, dropped down to the 'scope, settled recheck flag, shot, looked at flag again....80 degree wind change, 15 kph drop in speed...DAMN IT...low 4...watch the wind, feel it on my cheek, check flags, settle, check wind..shoot X Wooohoo, ok, I have it now....check flags, settle, check, shot.... UR KIDDING ME ARENT U....100 degree direction change and 9 kph INCREASE in speed.....high 5....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.........and it was only 300 yards!!
Oh well we live and learn I guess.....what doesn't kill us makes us makes other people laugh at us!!

Shooting with no wind is like snow skiiing without snow - it just isnt the same experience
Woody
I have grass skied and its bloody scary would it be something like that?
Gtown were you shooting at Lower Light sounds fairly tame to me
Cause of elevation shots at that distance would be more due to technique or load issues. Not drop offs or pick-ups

With each turbine attracting a $250 - $500,000 subsidy from electricity consumers annually, or “$325 to $650 million a year across the region,” he says the money is going into energy companies’ revenues, “essentially to support an otherwise uneconomic industry.”
Wow SA is the wind capital of Australia aren’t we lucky
South Australia is the largest producer of wind energy in Australia. Wind energy generation is variable based on the weather, so the amount of power a wind farm has the potential to generate is called installed capacity. As of August 2012, South Australia hosts 48% of the nation’s installed capacity.
I'm in the wrong business sounds like a very tasty gravy train to get on board
