Anyone know how the Aussies are going in the full bore?
Seems the media is only interested in swimming.

One of my Facebook feeds said that one Aussie at least put one on the wrong plate at 1000. Another said that a team (not identified) had each of their pair put on on the wrong target, but that was not necessarily Corbie & Geoff. There was a degree of rain around at 1000 & a uniquish target numbering scheme, so in that respect, local knowledge might well have come into play.
What's notable is that England won with a Games record, according to the CG website, which considering that this event is only contested at the Games, makes it a world record score. Under those circumstances, whatever the rest did, the Poms did it assertively better, and well done that pair.

Difficult conditions for 1000yds, rain & darkness a factor, plus 2 details which means they didn't all shoot in the same conditions. " heard this before" apparently poms shot last in better but dim conditions & no rain. Don't know which detail we shot in, yes sadly a shot on the wrong target cost a bronze at least.
