Great to see the enthusiasm for long range shooting. Only thing is where were all you people [ tom loundes excepted ] when a long range shoot was organised? Every state has programed long range F class in conjunction with their Match Rifle championships and you have all been conspicuios by your abstainis. How come?

Not sure Rob. One thing I will say is that Match Rifle events don't seem to be advertised as widely as they could be. Sometimes the first thing I hear about them is reading the results in the ATR. I will put the flyers on the Events Calendar of ozfclass.com if someone sends them (as has been done a couple of times).

Hi Allan
I did a re-calc for the 30 cal, 240gn MK's into yards and 2850fps will get me to 1,600 yards still supersonic.
That brings me to another question, what will the recoil be like with a 10kg rifle? using the above load possibly droping a further 50fps.
Also can I use spikes on the toes of my shoes to stop me sliding down the mound?
Cheers
