Not being a prizemeeting, I don't normally put the results on the ozfclass results page and didn't write anything down, but can tell you that Bruce Houston (Sale) won the combined FB/F-Std handicap - and Maurie Brown (Geelong) did likewise in F-Open. Maurie also got the highest scratch score which was just over 270 (out of 300) from memory. Not sure about FB and F-Std scratch scores. Being a "nominate your own handicap" event not everyone was going all out for a high score of course.
Everyone used electronic targets, and they performed flawlessly, except for one which was showing very big groups whenever I shot on it . Numbers were about the same as last year, in fact the shooters were pretty much the same people. They obviously enjoy the event enough to keep coming.
You asked about the weather conditions - from the shooting point of view quite tricky with the wind coming generally straight at us (fish-heading??). Not sure how wet and cold it was - we were indoors with the heating going .
