General weather conditions today were nothing short of terrible - in general. Very hot and dry with a variable north-west to west wind blowing in the morning...A lot of shooters got caught by it and a very rare few were able to pick their way through it. It was a relief when the southerly buster hit, but unfortunately we ran out of time to shoot at 700m which would have required some serious windage dialed onto rifles.
We'll see what tomorrow brings, but temps should be a lot cooler at least.

Its a tribute to the dedication of everyone that the event went ahead. People kept hydrated, and did their best.
