Maitland SA OPM
Just a short note to let everyone know that the Maitland Rifle Club in South Australia will be holding their annual OPM on Sunday the 20th of October. There is a leadup shoot on Saturday the 19th which is 2 and 15 at 700 yards (all grades). Badges on Saturday are 2 A grade, 2 B grade, 2 C grade, 1 F/S and 1 F/O. Entry on saturday includes webber tea. Sunday's ranges are 500,600 and 600 yards. T/R A,B and C grade as well as F/S and F/O will compete for Gold,Silver and Bronze medallions at every range on sunday with badges being awarded to 5 A grade, 4 B grade, 3 C grade, 2 F/S and 2 F/O. Range and Aggregate trophies. Entry fee less expenses returned as prize money on sunday. Come and have a fun time and enjoy some good old country hospitality.

Congratulations mike shot very well after side stepping back into open.
Mark tyler with a unlucky 59.8 I think?! At 500 was a good shoot along with richards 60.8 made things tough if you wanted to be up the pointy end.
I felt pritty comfortable behind the loaner gun and was fairly happy with my first two ranges but after a vert shot going from an X to a 4 things went down hill rapidly! After a few corrections I was still struggling to centre the group and I knew that was my day done!! Haha
Cheers to lynton and all the maitland crew for making an enjoyable day with presentations out on the lawn as the change came through was the icing on the cake.
