Lithgow OPM

#1 Postby Ben F » Sun Nov 24, 2013 2:03 pm

A reminder to all F Open shooters in the Sydney area that Lithgow will be holding its OPM next Sunday, details can be found on NSW F class.

This the first time that F Open has been held here in eight years, I hope we can get a good turn out and show F Open is alive and well in NSW.

I am sorry I can't make it there, but I do have a good excuse, I will be in New Mexico or somewhere.

A good turn out today over 90 entries at least 40 scope shooters, 15 FO shooters and some very tight competition.

Matt Paroz looked to have won the day only down one with a lot of X. But Steve Rigby from Rail & Tram managed to snatch victory needing a 60 with a very good centre count to beat Matt.

Congratulations to Steve on your 60.10 at the last range (600y), those don't come along very often.

Congratulations to Steve Rigby on a good win, and commiserations to Matt.
40 odd scopies and a total of 90 odd has to be a great result for an OPM, so it certainly looks like F Class is alive and well in your part of the world . Thanks for the report Ben, and we look forward to many more.
Did Matt shoot his 280 AI ? When someone takes it off you with a 60:10 at that range you know you are still doing most things right !!

Extreme accuracy and precision shooting at long range can be a very addictive pastime.
