Leupold VX3 8.5-25x50 vs Nightforce NXS

Thanks Tman. I actually ordered the Savage F/TR and Nightforce NXS 8-32x56 yesterday, along with a Nightforce 20MOA pic rail and rings. I found a buyer for the Tikka and Leupold so I went for it.

As for the zero stop, that is an option on NXS, which I actually forgot about, so mine won't have that. The turrets are resetable to zero, so I will probably just set a 300m zero and go from there. I did get the 1/8 MOA click option though.

I ended up going with the Mildot reticle, mostly because it was clean and simple but still has the reference marks if I want them. I know that the dots are 3.6MOA apart at 22x magnification. Once I work out what they are at 32x magnification, the calculations should be pretty straight forward.

Looking forward now to getting my new toys out to the range and see how it goes.
