rector,
I have had a nesika k 1.470 dia action for many years, and would replace it with another quite happily.
it has fired many thousand rounds, and I see no reason to replace it.
firing pin removal requires no tools other than a pin.
the borden bumps give a very good lockup. while allowing very free movement while opening the bolt. benchrest tightness when firing, and military tightness when operating.
and they look good.
keep safe,
bruce.

There was an issue with some Nesikas of the extractor claw being not quite to tolerance. The result in the case I saw (one 1000 yard BR shooter in Brisbane) was to require him to remove the bolt & fit each round under the extractor - or it wouldn't extract.

I have a few Borden Actions here, Jim Borden worked with Nesika I think and his actions are very similar, they are very nice, so nice I have put one aside for myself :D

matt,
jim borden invented the borden bumps, which engage as you lower the bolt handle.
he did have some connection to nesika.
borden actions have been doing some winning in the states.
the only thing I would like to see is a mechanical ejector like the one on stole, which gives you the option of not ejecting, lightly ejecting or really making the cases fly, depending on how far and hard you work the bolt.
my nesika has a post 64 win style extractor which has never shown a hiccup.
it pays to strip it in a plastic bag because there are small bits.
I think you will like the borden.
keep safe,
bruce.
