Question for the f-standard and fullbore shooters.
I have been wondering what is considered the best 308 chamber for shooting 155 grain projectiles. Is the 95 Palma still popular or are people using a newer design like the 2011 or 2019 fullbore? There are probably others that I have not even heard.
Thanks in advance for sharing your experience/opinions.

Re: 308 chambers
The 95 Palma reamer is IMO to small at the base, and tends to need a small base die to stop clickers. I use a “M852” with a 0.342” neck diameter with a 0.050” free bore which works well with Berger 155.5 and the 155 SMK’s but you’ll need a much longer throat for the Labuan 155.

Re: 308 chambers
Just to confuse you even more:
For my Berger 155.5's I have my barrel chambered for the 2010 JGS Match Reamer.
Some years ago I was told this.
.308 Hunting Rifle Reamers tend to be .395-3100 in the throat.
.308 Match is a .3085 throat with a different neck for those who want to neck turn.
.308 Bisley is s .308 throat to meet the Bisley Rule
.308 Palma is a .3085 throat cut for Sierras
Warner 95 Palma - Longer throat.
Pacific Tool 2011 Match .308 has a bit more freebore to meet ICFA rules
Sierra 2156 and Berger 155.5 have a short bearing surface. They need a shorter throat/free bore.
ie JGS 2010 Match .308. This suits Lapua brass and is no neck turn. However the throat is for a shorter bearing surface.
Kiff Bisley is 38 thou longer than 95 Palma Reamer. As some use a 95 Palma throated out.
The 308 Winchester 2019 Fullbore T30 is the updated version of 2011 Fullbore & 95 Palma reamers. Provides increased velocity and excellent accuracy with Sierra 2155 & 2156, Berger 155 Hybrid, 155 VLD and 155.5 Fullbore.
Lead angle is normal 1.5 deg but 0.5 is the new standard
