Can anyone explain the concept of the Calcutta? I saw on their Facebook page a photo of the top 10 with money values and maybe you guys down south do things a bit different, but I don't get it.

I'll explain how its been run at Queens shoots - I assume there would be variations in how it is done elsewhere.
It is based on the top (8 or 10 I think) positions on the leaderboard after the penultimate day of the Queens. An auction is held for each of the shooters, with the highest bidders holding a stake based on the how well their shooter finishes the next day. A percentage of the bid money pool goes to the fund-raising cause, and a percentage to the stakeholder of the Queens winner (and maybe a lesser percentage to the stakeholder of the runner-up).
