I bought a new Sightron 10-50 x 60 about 6 months ago. Not the newer zero-stop model.
Booklet says it has resettable turrets. I read they need a 1.5mm Allen-key to loosen.
I can't get the allen-key to actually connect internally with a "slot". Is 1.5mm the correct allen-key in fact? I have tried all my sizes to no avail. Peter

Re: Question for Sightron owners......
Hi
I have 2 Sightron 8-32 X 56 S111 scopes. The Allen key I use to change the turret position is either a 1.27mm or a .05 inch. The screw is a long way down in the hole.
Hope this helps.

Re: Question for Sightron owners......
Thanks Allan. I'll go to my tool shop tomorrow. Is there such a thing as a 1.27mm off the shelf allen key?

Re: Question for Sightron owners......
The ones I have are part of two sets (one metric one imperial) of small allen keys made by Kinchrome.

Re: Question for Sightron owners......
It will probably be 0.0625” or 1/16 imperial, quite often in better sets, I can recommend bondhus ball end as excellent, Bunnings generally has them, cheers Rich

Hi, got a response from Sightron over-night. 1.27mm Hex required which equates to 50 thou.
Bought oner today so will zero scope tonight.
Thanks for the replies.

Re: Question for Sightron owners......
The correct Allen key is the smallest one in the Imperial set marked "50". Sightrons are made to U.S. Specs so its all Imperial. A normal set of Allen keys doesn't usually go down to that size so you need to look around for a more complete set. Bunnings (of course) has them.
Its best to use the "ball" end and as someone said they are very deep holes so poke done a long way until you feel it engage.
Cheers
