I have a laminated stock blank imported from Finland for sale. The dimensions are 1020x230x62mm. Standard practice is to laminate 2 sections of offcut to the sides of the forend to give more than 75mm before profiling. Colour is dark grey / black.
Project has taken a side quest so surplus to requirements

Hi Tim,
This is a blank so basically a block of wood 1020x230x62mm which for most designs you'd get 2 stocks out of top and tail. It's not a "flat top" which just requires in letting so I couldn't even give you a close weight of what a stock would be. I believe it is made of birch and is the same laminate used by GRS.

If you could just give me the weight of that block I can work out (CAD does all the heavy lifting) the weight of the finished stock.

I believe it's 11kg but l can get a more accurate weight in a couple of dayss
