They made it up from the reamer print to save the dramas of sending cases in the post. Comes with a shoulder bump gauge as well. Took about 2 months which in the whole scheme of 'custom' isn't too bad I reckon.

yeah I would like to go this direction BUT the problem is I have to size down from 30 to 7mm. From what I understand using a bushing die it will leave a small area at the neck/ shoulder junction that will be still slightly oversize. . . . After neck turning this area can become very thin and then neck has the potential to snap off!

Bruce, if Rod mentioned a gunsmiths name, and provided he wasnt swearing at the time, then he would have been referring to Gazza, otherwise known as Gary Hunt, also called many other names, Im sure
Great bl
oke and very good at his job. Left my Panda with him on a Sunday arvo, picked it up the next sunday. New barrel, old barrel also re crowned and re chambered. Bullet OAL, exactly the same for both barrels, chambers the same.
Then left him my 6br barrel, picked it up a week later as a 6 dasher.

Also, there when I ran in my new 308 barrel, what more could one ask?

Re the mankinis etc, not sure about them.

Cheers
