WINDAGE...HOLD OFF or WIND ON?

Ok I tried aiming off this week as the conditions were fairly steady and suited that kind of shooting, good news is that it seemed to work very well after an initial setting of windage I was able to identify 1 minute changes in the wind and hold off accordingly. I don't know if this would be good in the rougher conditions ive shot in with wind head on fishtailing 4 to 5 minutes from right to left. but for calmer days where wind is more consistent it will work out
