Savage bolt handle availability?

Post by DenisA »

Hi All. Does anyone know where I may be able to get a couple of aftermarket stainless steel Savage bolt handles? The ones I've enquired about from tactical works won't ship them outside the US.

A little more length on the factory handles would be great.

They could always be turned down, threaded, then add on an aftermarket tactical type bolt knob.

G'day Dennis,

I got a nice extra length stainless Savage bolt handle
from http://gladesarmory.com/.
No problem with shipping o/s as long as it's under $100.
The bolt handle was $59.00 with $15.00 shipping.
Works a treat on my Model 12 F-Class Savage. :)

cheers,
Chris

I know a few people who have used glades and they were all happy with them.

Hi Guys, thanks for the tips. My Glades Handles turned up today. I'm really happy with them. They feel great. Can't wait to see how they go at the range. The length and leverage is sensational.

The handle itself is great. If I had to get picky, I think the square machined finish where it mounts to the bolt body leaves a lot to be desired. If it was rounded like the factory units and some of the other generic units it would be perfect. As long as it gets the job done.
