The biggest surprise to me is that Thistlethwaite is able to father children. Maybe he had help, who knows?

Unfortunately, I can see these clowns bringing this up every time there's some sort of election pending. Fortunately, there is a lease. Hopefully, it's worth more than the paper it's written on.

All of the range was there before all of the residents were.

Suggesting to sell off a part of it is an absolute joke and has a corrupt ulterior motive.

Who's cares if the kids can hear rifle cracks in the distance. If he doesn't like it, move. It's cheaper for him to move than moving a difficult to locate "noisy sports complex" that was there before the inception of the residential area.

Sounds like someone wants to buy himself a prime piece of real estate.

These children should be brought to the range and introduced to shooting. Who knows, one day they may need to defend their country against islamic terrorists.....

Certainly, the junior reporter who wrote this filler during the holiday period could benefit from attending a range day and seeing that its just a sport, like golf. (only for men haha)

What a pity that we do not own the ranges like golf clubs presumably own the golf courses ! Still our sport grew up under the encouragement of the government at a time when the skills it promotes were valued, for obvious reasons.

The only way to beat these weasel politicians is at their own game.
If they left us alone to pursue our harmless sport we wouldn't have shooting in state forests in nsw etc
When the 2% who did step up for the rest of us 98%(and I thank you) change came in the form of political power.
It must really annoy those who know best for us when they have to make deals with people they hate:D
Moral to the story is continue to be careful where our votes go.

Maybe more of us should hand out how to vote cards for the Liberal Democrats and Shooters and Fishers parties when the time comes.

You are right every time they go after us they seem to lose votes in the state and federal governments......

I doubt if the local Kiddies can hear the "crack of rifle fire" as they will be most likely be on their Playstation, with their Headphones and Virtual Reality goggles up at full volume "Killing" imaginary bad guys with their imaginary semi/full auto weapons.

Tim, there seems to be a huge groundswell of support for the shooters. While many of the respondents could be shooters there is a clear trend against our persecution by vested interest groups and their cronies. Those interested should read some of the comments........
