Are those Kongsbergs going to be used for any part of the shoot?

Would be nice to know for certain Peter before I make plans to attend. I'll await a reply from Albert or someone else on council.

Adam, we don't plan to use the ET's, all manual marking on paper targets.

Re: Victorian Queens Series - 2018
[spoil]Dear all,
I am jumping the gun slightly as an official announcement of will be made in due course, but thought it best to get the word spread fast and wide.
During the most recent VRA council meeting a decision was make to promote our beloved sport through greater access and availability for junior shooters. For the upcoming Vic Queens 2018, any NRAA member aged under 21 on the first day of the Syme, will gain free entry for both the Syme and Queens. If you know of junior members in your club that fit this description, please make them aware as we would love to field a large group of up and coming youngsters.

Newby question, what are those?
Scratch that I think I worked it out, my mate in Russia has supplied a few scuds.

If it's good enough for Canberra, which I may add, attracted their biggest entry last year, why can't the VRA use the electronic targets??????????????? if properly maintained. Come on.

Canberra's 2016 Queens was the first time they used Kongsbergs, and there were 102 F-Class entries, then in 2017 there were only 75 entries, which is a telling statistic. My impression is that not having ETs at Queens level is an attraction, at least for F-Class. Hopefully the standard of manual marking doesn't let us down.

Yeh, but, Alan, out of the 27 that didn't go in 2017, how many were because of the targets and how many were because of work/other commitments?
I personally prefer paper at comps, especially queens, but it's a big call blaming just the targets for a decline in numbers without actually asking those that didn't go.
Scott.
