Hornady 6mm .243 108 gr ELD Match

Anyone use these in F open? Extremely keen price from Cleavers, I would be tempted but I just bought a couple of thousand 105 VLD Bergers...

I've never seen a Hornady bullet match the level of accuracy obtained from a Berger.

Looks like I will be sticking with the Bergers, no use in reinventing the wheel!

I disagree with that statement. I have found Hornady bullets to not only match Berger but in some cases surpass Berger bullet accuracy. Now for the BAD news Hornady bullets are notorious for batch variation........now they shoot.......now they don't. But if they shoot.........they SHOOT!!!!!

I agree with Keith that they can shoot very well. I have been using 162gn ELD M in my 284win with a very wide node at a mild speed of 2880 using 2213.
I wouldn't have tried these if it wasn't for the Berger shortage, but I am glad I did. My current batch is 30 thou longer base to ogive, than the previous batch!! so you will have to retune between batches. The base to ogive is very consistent with the same batch but weight varies around .4gn
