For those that don't yet know, John Giles of PSECO passed away in late March 2022. His funeral was held on April 4th in Brisbane.
His skills are forever lost.

John was a top bloke and a great gun smith, I still have a 6.5*47 barrel from him that shoots very well.

Very Sad to hear that ! He smithed pretty much all of my barrels and rifles ! Was an absolute artist and great person ! John shall be sorely missed ! Regards Graham.

Great loss to the shooting industry , he smithed my first custom hunting repeater .260rem in 2002 I still have today it’s one of the best rigs I’ve ever owned or built

Sad news indeed. RIP John, your assistance and knowledge in all things barrels and ammunition, I well remember, and is with me still, as is your sage advice when life was not going well for me.
