hi just wondering does some one have load data for this calibre and seating depth 28 inch maddco match barrel savage action :shock:

My Savage is currently at Maddco for a 6.5x47 conversion, and I have been doing a lot of searching for load data as well. I did a bit of a search here - there is a bit of info, but not a huge amount.

I will be using a 130gn Berger projectile, moly coated, load testing will consist of 2208 powder between 36-37.5gn and go from there - playing with seating depths etc.

I have a thread on here, which should still be on the first page, which should help you a bit.

130gr berger 39.5-41gr of adi 2209 .015" into the lands with a cci br4 primer and youll be on the money. 40.5gr seems to be the really sweet spot in several rifles ive seen/ owned.

also worth a try with 123gr lapuas/ sierras with around 37gr of 2208.
