My Arbor Press System

Post by Quick »

Gents,

Thought I'd share this with you. Born out if necessity. I wanted to decal and neck size my cases but I didn't have an arbor press so this is my new system which seems to work well:

Hope you all like it :)

When I initially used Wilson dies, my drill press did the job. But an arbor press gives a good feel for neck tension, so if you're into Wilson dies for the long haul, I'd recommend getting an arbor at the first opportunity.

Alan,

That's the plan but I am unfortunately short on funds so this will last me for the next month or so. I'm probably going to stay with these wilsons. I need to get the Micrometer seater for my 6x47L. On a side note, can the std Wilson seaters be retro fitted with the micrometer seater stem?

Yes, in fact the micrometer top uses the same stem.

Who sells the micrometer for then? I couldn't find it on the Wilson site. I don't want to have to spend 120 on a new die.

If you want it quickly, Pro-Cal Trading (03) 5281 1380.

Sinclairs have them but you might have to wait some time (they're snowed under with orders) http://www.sinclairintl.com/reloading-equipment/reloading-dies/replacement-parts-amp-upgrades/sinclair-wilson-micrometer-seater-top-prod36021.aspx
