Can pilots do that ?
Could you please describe the pink item at the bottom right of your last photo for our viewers ?

Extreme accuracy and precision shooting at long range can be a very addictive pastime.
Re: QRA Queens..
Looks like its Qld in F/TR by a good lead, SA in FS and very tight at the top in FO with Vic by a point over NSW and the kiwis lurking real close too.
Thanks again josh for the updates.

So in F-Open NSW 1 point ahead of Vic so far today, but Vic 3 points ahead of NSW overall. Very close - c'mon the Vics

In F-Std SA ahead of NSW by 4 points so far today and 6 points overall.
In F/TR Queensland ahead of NQld by 6 so far today and 14 points overall.

I watched a program on TV the other night about the atomic bomb. Has one been dropped on Brisbane? Can you hear me? Are you all okay up there? I haven't heard anything since about 2pm.

Whew! You're all alive! Have just heard that NSW won Open and Std, Qld won F/TR. Congrats to the successful Teams, particularly the coaches.

Re: QRA Queens..
Some news/gossip from the coal face.
FO -Huge congratulations to nsw who machine gunned their way to victory. A brave tactic to bring to Belmont in August when there are normally crazy westerlies. But it paid off with the wind gods being relatively kind and "Cessnock" like conditions early that the little dashers thrived in. A great day and overall win
Contrasted by some very nice coaching by Victoria and mike waites who took out the first 15 shotter, 3rd yesterday and 2nd in grand ag.
NQ took out the long range ag 2nd yesterday and 3rd grand ag.
A special mention for wa and nz who were both very impressive but all teams showed a huge level of improvement and a very tight game

Re: QRA Queens..
300 done and dusted. Plenty of 60's on a beautiful clear morning with just a slight breeze from the left with just enough to catch the unwary and lose a point (myself, Ben Ferrara, Jenni H were asleep)
Julie McEwan 60-8, Matt 60-7 or 6, Rod last to shoot . Nick Williamson cut a 6 first sighter and finished with 60-10
. I have only ever done that once myself and my last shot was a 5
Wild Dog shooting TR and dropped just one.
Wind from 7:30 to 8 o'clock as we head to the 500.
i am 2nd to shoot at 500 so should have plenty of time to chase some individual scores up from this range before we start the first 600

Rod had a 60-1 officially , after his scorers gave him 50-10 lots of Vs....pointed out his last V Bull was actually an X.....and they both had no idea how many X's they didn't give him. Pretty sure he is on 120-Something but have to check
