Sorry you didn't make it Wayne. I'll post a picture from another thread :

Rosedale PM

thx Alan,
It was the grandsons birthday. If I went to the PM I would have been in the doghouse for weeks from both sides (daughter and wife)
Looking at the size of the board there was a good turnout.

cheers

Yes Linda, and I can assure you they all enjoyed the shooting. Matt Terpkou was the only junior at the meeting - have a look at his 1000yd score. I've no doubt we'll be continuing with F/TR for our weekly club competition. Hopefully it will start to pop up in more places around Vic and around Australia.

Macguru,

Most ranges around Australia (including the Nationals range Belmont) aren't metric. The newest range I've shot at was Coonabarabran, built 2 or 3 years ago. It has imperial distances. Most new ranges are metric, and I believe many ranges have converted from imperial to metric, but in hindsight, probably could have saved a lot of work and not done so. I wasn't shooting at the time of metrication in Australia, but was there an NRAA directive to convert? - maybe an avid full bore historian can throw some light on it.

No directive to build or convert to metric ranges by NRAA.

Excuse the late reply but it's the first time I've read this thread...
Great shooting Alan, just wondering what setup/calibre you use?
Thanks
