For Shifty... you know who you are.

For Shifty 8)

Twas a sunny, but windy day, on the 700 mound,
and with deep thought Shifty studied the wind, the flags and all.
With a gentle squeeze his rounds cut through the evil left squall

A pair of fours cut, followed by a string of nine sixes,
with only one shot to go and with such anticipation,
the target appeared displaying a, YES, huh … a … 5 ???

'Tis okay mate' we all shouted, 'the wind is evil',
but on closer inspection it was revealed,
he pulled the shot, with perfect wind, at 6-o-clock.

On his back he rolled sobbing out loud.
While we all grieved, then laughed, and told him …
.. Shifty, get OFF the bluddy mound!

So close mate, yet so far, but deep down we know,
while you wont live this down, and on reflection,
on another day you’ll get 60/60 perfection.

So don’t distress, Shifty, as these things happen,
and all you need is this one important thing to remember,
the next Training day is held in NOVEMBRE !!!

Book now!
