Rod, the winning F-Open team from South Australia comprised of:

P. Bradshaw (Coach)

R. Braund (Capt.)

S. Braund

P. Janzso

D. Zerbe

M. Willment

C. Janzso (Manager)

I believe they won by 6 points in the end and created a bit of history by being the first Open team to take out, day 1, day 2 and Grand Agg?

And yes, that is Jake’s second Queen’s success, his first being last year at Lower Light. =D>

I hope to put up detailed results some time today. NRAA exec officer Cathy has already sent day 1, but I'm waiting for day 2.

Congrats to SA in F-Open and Queensland in F-Std. They were justly rewarded for there efforts.

Alan, is there any chance of putting up the scores so we can see how the shooters and teams went?

Well done to SA on a great win. Taking out both days, and with sometimes treacherous conditions, was testament to a very good coach!

Well done Phil.

As for all those that competed, it was brilliant to see you all there. 37 competitors in F Class Open was incredible, along with the level of talent!

It's great that the team shoot gives us the ability to "raise the bar" during the Queens for the Host state.

Thanks NQRA for the great weather, and interesting conditions. It will certainly go down as a memorable event for many years to come.

Just got home and thought I would quickly post before hitting the hay.

Congrats to Marty, Daryl and Jake and all other winners in the Queens.
great also to see Peter Smith and Julie giving it a real shake up - couldn't happen to nicer people and against fantastic competition =D> =D> =D>

Also a huge congratulations to the SA F open team - we gave em a nudge but they were way too good! =D> =D> =D>

Finally the Qld standard team - also very dominant and a great result!!

Yeah Rod - Peter only has one set of shoes for this very occasion! (nice carpet too!)

I hope all you South Aussies noticed Peters pimping efforts???? He heard you guys were going to some effort so he spent many a late night adding those extra touches to his rifle! - a photo would be appropriate here if anyone has one.

A special mention should go to our coach Dave Stewart. Hard to tell amongst the scores as we had shooter-coaches but he pulled off 6 60's in a row followed by a 59.6!!! =D>

We all came away admiring the SA effort. They certainly were an impressive outfit to watch - well drilled with great coaching. They have set a very high standard for team shooting in Aus. The bar has been raised and we all came away with renewed enthusiasm to give them a better nudge next time!!

dave,
what everyone seems to have overlooked re the sa open teams performance is that 60% of their rifles wore 2 lug actions.
we in sa are working toward 100%, but these things take time in a reactionary sport like shooting.
keep safe,
bruce.

Bruce, does that mean if they all used millennium actions or RPA's then they would shoot twice as good due to twice the number of lugs
